How To BackUp Windows Registry and Restore previous backup

For many reason we edit windows registry time to time , most of the program's edit registry to , So for safety you can backup your windows machine's registry settings , Here i'll show you how

Backing Up :

Step 1 : Goto Registry editor , Press WindowsKey+R to open run and type Regedit or you can always search on start for regedit.exe .

Step 2 : In The registry editor menu , Click on File then export

Step 3 : Now, Give the backup a name , save the file as .reg , In Export Range Click on All , select file to save anywhere you Like , then click save. You are amazing . Backup will be save within a few minutes .

Restoring Or Fixing :

Fixing or restoring backed up registry is superbly simple  , let's take a look

Step 1 : Goto Registry editor , Press WindowsKey+R to open run and type Regedit or you can always search on start for regedit.exe .

Step 2 : In the registry editor , Goto File , Import .

Step 3 : Now, Browse to the registry backup file you've exported earlier , select it, then click open . Done
